We have openings for HouseParents and Relief HouseParents to work with children ages 0-21. From our maternity home, Transitional Living Program, and QRTP to those that need us most.

Applicants for the position of HouseParents/Relief HouseParents for COMPACT Family Services, Hillcrest campus need to be a mature, compassionate husband and wife team as well as singles with a heart for ministry who will significantly impact the lives of our residents on campus.

Our Houseparents/Relief HouseParents work closely with the residents, and are important role models, teaching them life lessons and core values. They also provide supervision, structure and assistance in meeting abused/neglected children's physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs while teaching them life skills. It is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the lives of children and youth.

From assisting with homework to overseeing chores, from preparing meals to playing board games, from swimming in our Olympic size heated pool to playing basketball at our newly renovated gymnasium. Our HouseParents and Relief HouseParents create a family-like atmosphere in their cottages.

Salary: $71,136 per couple / $35,568 per individual with Sign-On Bonus

Applicants:

  • Need to be mature and compassionate couples/individuals who have a heart for ministry.
  • Provide direct supervision and care of children to meet to meet their physical, spiritual, emotional, educational, and social needs.
  • Work closely with a treatment team to establish and help fulfill treatment goals.
  • Work with Children and youth facing a variety of challenges, such as: teen pregnancies, treatment needs, transition into adulthood, and special needs.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, with prior childcare experience preferred.
  • Have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check per AR DCFS minimum state and federal standards (to include fingerprinting), a drug screen, and child maltreatment background check.
